FUEL TANK
REMOVAL/INSTAllATION

Turn the fuel valve OFF,
Disconnect the fuel lUbe f, om the fuel va lve.
Disconnect the fuel tank breather l ub e f rom the
num ber pl aTe.
Remove th e fuel lan k holde' band.
Remove
The fuel Ta nk mounTing bol TS and fuel tank,
Installation is in the reverse order of removal
TORQUE:
Fu el tank mounting bolt : 12 N.m (1,2 kg f'm , 9 Ibf.ft )
TANK SHROUD (AFTER 2000)
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the screw and tr im clip,
Remove
the tan k shr oud from the fuel tank,
Installation is in the reverse order of remova l.

OTE :
A
lign the hole in the shroud with the boss on the
fuel ta nk.
