Turn the in ner .ace of each bearing w ith y our finger.
The bear ings shoul d turn smoot hly and qui e tl y.
Also check that the b earin g ou t er race f'IS tightly in
the hub .

bea M"s In pa,rs . smoothl y, qUietly. or if they fit loosely in I he hub.

Inst all the new bearings i nto the h ub using the
specia t lools (page 11-9).
DISASSEMBLY
Remove the dust seal
InSlall
the bea ring '!lmover head i nto the b earing .
From
the o pp osite side, install the bearing r~mo ve r
shaft and cjrive the bear ing ou t of the w heel hub.
Remove t
he distance collar and drive out the ot her
beari ng.
