CRANKSHAFT I TRANSMISSION / KICKST ARTER
Install the spr in g and snap .ing.
Install the pinion lind washer.
Install t
r.e spindle to t he left crankcase.
CRANKCASE ASSEMBLY
Ctean the crankcase mat ing surfaces before assem·
bling.
NOTE:
Dress th e surfaces with an oil stone if necessary
to correct any minor roughness or irregularities.
After cle
aning , lub ricate the Cf~nkshllft bea. ings
and ot her contacting sur faces w ith clean engine
oil.
Install
the dowel pins and new gasket onto the left
crankcase.
Make sur e lhal rhe Inslall the ri ght crankc ase over the left crankcase.
