Help with errors
You can rectify minor faults yourself using the following overview.
If in doubt, please consult the authorised customer service.
 DANGER
Risk of electric shock
Turn off the appliance and remove the key prior to any care and
maintenance work.
Repair work and work on the electrical components may only be
performed by an authorised Customer Service.
Vehicle malfunctions
Note In case of all malfunctions not listed, contact Customer Service!
Error messages for symbol displays
Malfunction Remedy
The vehicle cannot be started  Check battery/charge.
 Turn on the main switch.
 Sit on the driver seat (the seat contact switch is activated).
 Set the travel direction lever to the NEUTRAL position - central position.
 Top up fuel, bleed the fuel system.
 Check, clean and/or replace fuel filter.
 Check the fuel connections and lines.
 Contact the authorised Customer Service.
Motor is running erratically  Clean or replace air filter.
 Check, clean and/or replace fuel filter.
 Top up fuel, bleed the fuel system.
 Check the fuel connections and lines.
 Contact the authorised Customer Service.
Motor is running but machine is
not moving or moving slowly
 Release parking brake.
 Check setting of freewheel lever.
 Have the oil level for the traction hydraulics checked by Customer Service.
 During minus temperatures and with cold hydraulic oil: Allow machine to warm up for at least for 3
minutes.
Motor does not switch off (main
switch to 0)
 Clean fuel cock on fuel filter.
 Attach the fuel pump.
 If this keeps occurring, contact Customer Service.
Dust during sweeping/insuffi-
cient suction performance
 Empty waste container.
 Switch on the suction blower.
 Check hose on suction fan.
 Check/replace seals:
a Sealing cover on suction fan.
b Filter box seal.
c Waste container seals.
 Checking/cleaning/replacing dust filter.
a Check that the dust filter is secured correctly.
b Clean the dust filter in case of slight soiling.
c Clean the dust filter in case of damage or replace it in case of heavy soiling.
 Check/adjust the sealing strips for wear, replace as necessary.
Unsatisfactory sweeping perfor-
mance
 Check roller brush and side brushes for wear, replace if necessary.
 Check sealing strips for wear, adjust or replace as required.
 Check function of coarse dirt flap.

Check the sweeping roller half sections for proper seating.
 Check filling level of hydraulic oil tank.
 Check the hydraulic system for tightness.
Side brushes cannot be activat-
ed
 Contact Customer Service.
Side brushes do not turn  Check filling level of hydraulic oil tank.
 Check the hydraulic system for tightness.
 Check the side brushes for wrapped belts.
Emptying of waste container not
working
 Contact Customer Service.
Malfunction Cause Remedy
Engine overheated.  Set the engine speed to idle mode.
 Clean the radiator (see chapter Cleaning the radiator)
 Check the level of coolant in the engine.
 If the warning light does not go out within 5 minutes:
a Switch off the engine
b Contact Customer Service
