Safety checks on the vacuum sweeper
Note
Perform this safety check in addition to the device carrier safety
check.
Check the operational and traffic safety of the vehicle before driv-
ing.
1. Fastening of the waste container.
2. Check the hydraulic and electric connections to the device car-
rier.
3. Check the spray water connections to the sweeping system
and suction mouth.
4. Check the recycling water connection to the suction mouth
(option).
5. Check the spray water filling level at the fresh water tank.
6. Recycling water filling level in waste container (option).
7. Check the sweeping system and brushes for entangled cords
and tape.
8. Check the connections at the sweeping system and suction
mouth.
9. Check the fastening of the sweeping system and suction
mouth.
Setting the driver's seat
DANGER
Danger of accident
Only adjust the driver’s seat when the device is standing.
1 Backrest with extension
Pull out for height adjustment
2 Backrest inclination adjustment
3 Horizontal adjustment - pull the lever upwards to adjust
4 Compressor switch - for air-cushioned seat (option)
5 Right arm rest height adjustment
6 Left arm rest side adjustment
7 Left arm rest length adjustment
8 Arm rest control panel
9 Document storage
10 Lumbar support adjustment
11 Seat belt
12 Horizontal shock absorber
1. Adjust the inclination, height and position of the left arm rest
for operating the control panel.
Note
The driver's seat is automatically damped.
Passenger seat
The passenger seat is horizontally adjustable, pull the lever up-
wards to adjust.
Setting the steering wheel position
DANGER
Danger of accident
Only adjust the position of the steering wheel when the device is
standing.
1 Steering wheel height adjustment locking lever
2 Steering wheel inclination adjustment lever
3 Brush contact pressure pedal
1. Pull and hold the inclination adjustment lever and set the
steering wheel to the desired inclination.
2. Push in the lever.
3. Release the height adjustment locking lever and set the steer-
ing wheel to the desired height.
4. Lock the locking lever.
Refuelling
DANGER
Risk of explosion
Do not refuel in confined spaces.
Do not smoke and avoid open flames.
Ensure that no fuel gets on hot surfaces.
1. Switch off the ignition.
2. Open the tank cap.
3. Fill with fuel.
Only the fuel specified in the operating instructions may be
used.
4. Wipe of any spilt fuel and close the tank cap.
Refuelling with the fuel canister
Estimate the required amount of fuel in advance to avoid over-
flows.
Filling the water reservoir
1 Filling nozzle
2 Symbol for the "Fill" lever position
3 Symbol for the "Closed" lever position
