2.3 Caution notations and labels
Safety precaution notations and labels appear on this machine at the
following positions.
Be very careful that an accident does not occur when operations such as
removing paper misfeeds are performed.
Do not burn used
toner cartridges.
Toner expelled from
the fire is dangerous.
Do not burn used
imaging units. Toner
expelled from the fire
is dangerous.
Do not alter or remove
any covers or panels
attached to this
machine, otherwise
you may be exposed
to laser radiation.
WARNING
Do not burn the used
waste-toner box.
Toner expelled from
the fire is dangerous.
CAUTION
Do not position the used
waste-toner box so that
it is standing on end or
tilted, otherwise toner
may spill.

The area around the
fusing unit is extremely
hot. Touching any part
other than those
indicated may result in
