2.7 Basic operations
Turning on the machine
1 Set the power switch to [ n ].
2 Check that the control panel is turned on.

Detail
When the machine is turned on, the printer starts up and the message
"Now warming-up." appears. After the message "Ready to print."
appears and the Ready indicator lights up, a print job can be received.
The default settings, which are those that are selected immediately after
the machine is turned on, can be changed. For details, refer to "Control
panel" on page 5-3.
The factory default settings are the settings that were selected when this
machine was sent from the factory.

Note
The machine takes about 110 seconds to warm up at normal room
temperature (23°C).
