ENGINE REMOVAL

INSTALLING THE ENGINE
1. Install:
• Engine “1”
• Engine mounting bolt (rear lower side) “2”
• Engine mounting bolt (rear upper side) “3”
• Engine mounting collars (inside) “4”
• Engine mounting collars (outside) “5”
• Engine mounting nut (rear lower side) “6”
(temporarily tighten)
• Engine mounting nut (rear upper side) “7”
(temporarily tighten)
• Engine mounting bolts (front left side) “8”
(temporarily tighten)
• Engine mounting collars (inside) “9”
• Engine mounting collars (outside) “10”
• Engine mounting bolts (front right side) “11”
(temporarily tighten)
NOTE:
• Be sure to pass the drive axle through the drive
chain when installing the engine “1”.
• Do not fully tighten the bolts and nuts.
2. Tighten:
• Engine mounting nut (rear lower side) “6”
• Engine mounting nut (rear upper side) “7”
• Engine mounting bolts (front left side) “8”
• Engine mounting bolts (front right side) “11”
3. Install:
• Shift arm “1”
NOTE:
Install the shift arm “1” with its punch mark “a”
aligned with the notch “b” in end of the shift shaft.
