With an IRDA connection, the tightening results are automatically printed on the STAR printer when the
wrench is put back on the QATnode. Connect the printer to serial port COM 1 of the QATnode.
With an IRC-W connection, the tightening results are automatically printed at the end of the Pset or
Multistage or Job. Connect the printer to serial port COM 1 of the QATnode and using a network cable to
the Ethernet port of the QATnode.
When all the data have been printed, the following message is shown on the wrench display:
Click on OK to continue.
If for any reason the STwrench-QATnode connection is interrupted during the printing (wrench removed
from QATnode with IRDA connection, or IRC-W connection missing, or paper running out), the report is
entirely reprinted when the connection is reestablished or when new paper is loaded into the printer.
If at the time of printing the printer is offline, the following message is shown on the wrench display:
Ensure that the printer is connected and switched on, and click OK to continue printing the results.
