2.4.2 STwrench controller
The controller is the core of the STwrench: It contains the main hardware boards and firmware.
There are two controller versions:
STwrench controller standard
Standard version. It works with standard battery
and “short HD” battery.
STwrench controller BI
Version to be used with the battery inside (BI),
which in installed inside the controller. With this
battery the length of the wrench is reduced.
NOTE: This controller cannot be connected to
Power Focus via SL cable.
2.4.3 smartHEAD
The smartHEAD of the STwrench contains the torque transducer and defines the wrench’s nominal
torque. You can install or change the smartHEAD without any need for further settings or calibration: The
wrench automatically loads the transducer data when powering on.
