REAR SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Remove the existing rear shield.
If the shaft is crimped at the end (as shown to the
right), it must be cut with a small hacksaw to be
removed.
If the shaft is not crimped at the end, pry off the
existing push nut and remove the shaft.
2. Install the new shaft, rear shield, and push nut. It is not
necessary to crimp the end of the replacement shaft.
