INSPECTION:7-8
REASSEMBLY
• When installing the generator stator set bolts, tighten them to
the specified torque.

NOTE:
Be sure to install the grommet to the generator cover.
STARTER CLUTCH
INSPECTION
• Inspect the starter clutch for abnormal wear or damage.
• Turn the starter driven gear and inspect the starter clutch for
smooth movement.
• Inspect that the gear turns one direction only.
• If they are found to be damaged, replace them with new ones.
INSTALLATION
• Face the shoulder A of starter clutch to generator rotor, install
them.
" Starter clutch bolt: 25 N

OIL PUMP
INSPECTION
• Rotate the oil pump by hand and check that it moves smoothly.
• If it does not move smoothly, replace the oil pump assembly.

* Do not attempt to disassemble the oil pump assembly.
* The oil pump is available only as an assembly.
