CRANKCASE/OIL PAN
OIL CHECK VALVE
• Install the oil check valve.

LOWER CRANKCASE
• Inspect the gearshift shaft bearings (1 and 2) and the gear-
shift cam bearing 3 for abnormal noise and smooth rotation
while they are in the crankcase.
• Replace a bearing if there is anything unusual.
Bearing replacement
• Remove the oil seal.
• Remove the gearshift shaft bearing using the special tool.

• Install the bearings using the special tool.
\ 09913-70210: Bearing installer set (20mm)
