outer seal
2.12.1 Removing
Note
♦ The core of the seal is a metal insert. If this is bent, the seal
can no longer be straightened out. It will remain “wavy”.
♦ Therefore, the seal must be pulled off and pressed on evenly,
without bending or distorting it.
♦ The removal and installation sequence is only for the window
slot outer seal on the right. Removal and installation of the
window slot outer seal on the left are analogous.
Carry out following work:
– Pull seal -1- uniformly -arrows- off flange -2-.
