6.1 Tools
Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Hot air blower -V.A.G 1416-
♦ Adhesive strip remover -VAS 6349-
6.2 Installation instructions for lettering and
emblems
Note
♦ Lettering cannot be removed without damage.
♦ Before removing the lettering, heat it with a hot air blower -
V.A.G 1416- .
♦ Only use adhesive remover -D 002 000 10- .
♦ Ensure that the adhesive surfaces are free of dust and grease.
♦ Stick on lettering immediately after cleaning.
♦ Remove protective backing immediately before installation.
♦ Working temperature is approx. 21°C.
