1.4 Removing and installing sliding/tilting
sunroof glass panel
1.4.1 Removing
Carry out following work:
– Push sliding headliner to rear.
– Raise sliding/tilting sunroof
– Unclip bellows along lower strip.
– Loosen the two front catches and push bellows backwards out
of guide -arrow-.
– Move glass panel to zero position.
– Remove bolts -1- and -3-
– Loosen bolt -2- by turning it a few times (do not unscrew com‐
pletely).
– Take out glass panel upwards out of roof cut-out.
1.4.2 Installing
Carry out following work:
• Guide pins -1- must align with markings -arrow- on left and
right guide plates.
If this is not the case, adjust parallel running ⇒ page 160 .
– Insert glass panel from above into roof cut-out.
