1.4 Installing after renewing A-pillar
WARNING
If A-pillar is renewed, bolts on A-pillar must absolutely be tight‐
ened as described in the following.
Carry out following work:
• A-pillar has been renewed.
• Always renew; it is permissible to loosen them once in order
to align door.
Install in reverse order of removal.
– Insert door -1- and tighten bolts -2-,-5- and -6- to 20 Nm at 90°.
– Adjusting door ⇒ page 82
– Observe front door gaps ⇒ Body Repairs; Rep. gr. 00 ; Body
panel gaps/shut lines; Body - middle .
