874 Configuring Connectivity Fault Management
Configuring MEP Information
Beginning in Privileged Exec mode, use the following commands to configure
the mode and view related settings.

configure Enter global configuration mode.
interface

Enter Interface Config mode for the specified

Define the port as a maintenance endpoint (MEP)
and associate it with an SVLAN in a domain. When
the MEP is enabled, it will generate CCM messages.

Enable a MEP at the specified level and direction.
ethernet cfm mep active Set the administrative state of the MEP to active.
ethernet cfm mip level

Create a MIP at the specified level on the interface.
exit Exit to privileged Exec Mode
show ethernet cfm
maintenance–points
Add the keywords local domain, local interface,
local level, remote domain, or remote level to show
information on local or remote endpoints.
show ethernet cfm statistics Display statistics per MEP.
