1.8.3 Configuration Example
I. Network requirements
z To monitor and analyze inbound and outbound packets of ports connected to
Ethernet1/0/2 via monitoring devices.
z The monitoring devices are attached to Ethernet1/0/1.
Configure as follows:
z Set Ethernet1/0/2 as the monitored port. Set to monitor both its inbound and
outbound packets.
z Set Ethernet1/0/1 as the monitoring port.
II. Configuration procedure
<Quidway> system-view
[Quidway] interface ethernet1/0/1
System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
[Quidway-Ethernet1/0/1] monitor-port
[Quidway-Ethernet1/0/1] quit
[Quidway] interface ethernet1/0/2
[Quidway-Ethernet1/0/2] mirroring-port both
[Quidway-Ethernet1/0/2] display mirroring-group local
