WARNING: The AC power cord for the switch is intended for use with the switch only
and not for any other use.
WARNING:
Translaon from Japanese: The aached power cable is only for this product. Do not
use the cable for another product.
NOTE: In North America, AC power cords must not exceed 4.5 m (approximately 14.75 î™›) in
length, to comply with Naonal Electrical Code (NEC) Secons 400-8 (NFPA 75, 5-2.2) and
210-52, and Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) Secon 4-010(3). You can order AC power cords
that are in compliance.
WARNING: The switch is pluggable type A equipment installed in a restricted-access
locaon. It has a separate protecve earthing terminal (sized for UNC 1/4-20 ground
lugs) provided on the chassis in addion to the grounding pin of the power supply cord.
This separate protecve earthing terminal must be permanently connected to earth.
CAUTION: Power cords must not block access to switch components. We recommend
that you route all AC power cord cables through the power cord tray provided with the
switch.
AC Power Supply Specicaons for EX9214 Switches
Table 14 on page 49 lists the power supply specicaons for an AC power supply used in EX9214
switches.
