8.4.1.1 Motor selecon from motor catalogue
The following describes how to opmise your drive system by selecng a Lenze motor from
the motor catalogue. Several steps are started invisibly in the background to load/calculate
the sengs for the relevant parameters.
Precondions
•
Access to a Lenze engineering tool (e. g. »EASY Starter«).
•
Opmisaon is possible online or oine (with or without connected motor).
Required steps
1.
Open the Lenze engineering tool that provides for the funconality of a "Lenze motor cata-
logue".
2.
Click the Select motor... buon. In case of the »EASY Starter«, you nd the Select motor...
buon on the "sengs". tab.
3.
Select the used motor in the "Select motor" dialog:
•
By entering lter criteria, you can restrict the selecon.
•
Name (e. g. "MDSKxxx"), rated power and C86 value can be found on the motor name-
plate.
4.
Click the OK buon to start the opmisaon.
Opmisaon process
As soon as the opmisaon has been started, the following steps are iniated by the engi-
neering tool:
1.
The rated motor data are loaded from the motor catalogue.
2.
The motor equivalent circuit diagram data are loaded from the motor catalogue.
3.
The motor controller sengs are calculated based on the previously loaded data.
4.
The speed controller sengs are automacally calculated based on the previously loaded
data.
Notes:
•
The data involved in this opmisaon are provided be the motor catalogue alone. Further
user data is not required.
•
The inverter characterisc is not changed by this opmisaon.
Parameter Name / value range / [default seng] Info
0x2C01:010 Motor parameters: Motor name The name (e.g. " 1") can be freely selected by the user.
If the motor in the engineering tool has been selected from the "motor
catalog", the respecve motor name is automacally entered here
(example: "MDSKA080-22, 70").
