Lowering limit
switch
The lowering limit switch (1) prevents the hoist rope from being reeled completely
off the drum.
The lowering limit switch works only if the switch-off point is set correctly
(for example, after changing a hoist rope);

G
Risk of accidents due to incorrect setting or intended triggering!
Prior to operating the crane, ensure that the lowering limit switch is set correctly
and always complete the lowering operation before the lowering limit switch is
triggered.
This prevents the hoist rope becoming damaged due to complete unreeling or
switching off at high speeds, and the load being dropped as a result.
G
Risk of accidents due to adjustments made to the lowering limit switch!
Always re-adjust the lowering limit switch if you unreel hoist rope from the sta-
tionary rope drum. The lowering limit switch does not record the number of these
winds.
This prevents the lowering limit switch switching off too late or not switching off
at all, the hoist rope being damaged and the load being dropped.
