5. Move the outrigger pads into the operating position and secure them;

6. Enlarge the load-bearing area if necessary;

7. Extend the supporting cylinders until none of the wheels is touching the
ground;

8. Level the truck crane with the outriggers.
The lamp (1) lights up in the measuring range 1°;

9. Check that none of the wheels are touching the ground.
Adjust the position if necessary.
10. Switch off the engine;

à In the crane cab, p. 10 - 11
à On the outrigger control units, p. 4 - 19.
