Delete Archive File From the MAIN MENU, press F6 and then F5 to bring up this screen.
This screen allows you to delete unwanted files. Enter the path of the
directory which holds the unwanted files by typing the path name in
the Current Archive field.
Programming Procedure
1. Enter the path of the directory which holds the unwanted files by
typing the path name in the Current Archive field.
2. Press Tab to select the desired file name.
3. Press F5 to delete the selected file. You will be prompted for
confirmation before the file is actually deleted.
Function Key Descriptions
F2 - CHANGE ARCHIVE Allows you to access a different directory from the current directory.
This function is similar to the CHDIR command in DOS.
F5 - DELETE FILE Allows you to delete a file from the path. This function is similar to the
DEL file name command in DOS. You will be prompted for
confirmation before the file is actually deleted
Field Definitions
Current Archive The default archive path will always be the specified default path from
the CONFIGURE PATHS AND PORT screen (F9/F3).
File Name This field holds the name of the file that you wish to delete.
Note: Refer to the owner’s manual that came with your
computer for a complete description of file names.
