DISASSEMBLY

Countershaft
• Remove the O-ring
1, 2nd drive gear 2 and top drive gear

• Remove the top drive gear bushing
4, washer 5, and 3rd/4th
drive gears
6.
• Remove the snap ring with the special tool.
" 09900-06107: Snap ring pliers
• Remove the 5th drive gear
7 and its bushing 8.
Be sure to identify each removed part as to its loca-
tion, and lay the parts out in groups designated as
“Drive” and “Driven”, so that each will be restored to
the original location during assembly.
The removed O-ring must be replaced with a new one.
