ENGINE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
ENGINE REMOVAL
Before taking the engine out of the frame, wash the engine
using a steam cleaner. Engine removal is sequentially explained
in the following steps. Reinstall the engine by reversing the
removal procedure.
• Drain engine oil. (!2-12)
• Drain engine coolant. (!2-17)
• Remove the seat. (!6-4)
• Disconnect the battery
- lead wire.
• Remove the engine under cover

• Remove the fuel tank side covers
2, cowlings
3 and inner
cowling. (!6-6)
• Remove the radiator and water hoses.
