8-10 SERVICING INFORMATION
CHASSIS
Complaint Symptom and possible causes Remedy
Heavy steering.
1. Overtightened steering stem nut.
2. Broken bearing in steering stem.
3. Distorted steering stem.
4. Not enough pressure in tires.
Adjust.

1. Loss of balance between right and left front forks.
2. Distorted front fork.
3. Distorted front axle or crooked tire.
4. Loose steering stem nut.
5. Worn or incorrect tire or wrong tire pressure.
