CHASSIS 6-45
REMOUNTING
Remount the rear shock absorbers in the reverse order of
removal. Pay attention to the following points:
• Install the rear shock absorber and tighten the rear shock
absorber upper/lower mounting nuts.
& Rear shock absorber mounting lower nut:
50 N·m (5.0 kgf-m, 36.0 lb-ft)
Rear shock absober mounting upper nut:
50 N·m (5.0 kgf-m, 36.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
When installing the rear shock absorber, the outlet hose of the
prel-load adjuster faces backward.
• Clamp the pre-load adjuster hose
1.
• Install the cushion rod
2.
• Tighten the cushion rod nuts to the specified torque.
& Cushion rod nut: 78 N·m (7.8 kgf-m, 56.5 lb-ft)
