5-16 CHASSIS
Remove the brake lever and brake light switch.
Remove the dust boot and push rod.
Remove the circlip.
Remove the piston/secondary cup 1 and return spring 2.
Remove the master cylinder reservoir cap 3 and diaphragm 4.
Drain the brake fluid.

MASTER CYLINDER
Inspect the master cylinder bore for any scratches or other dam-
age. If any damages are found, replace the master cylinder with
a new one.
