Item Requirement
Temperature and
humidity
The temperature and humidity in the installation site must
be within specications. For the operating temperature
and relative humidity ranges required by the device, see
device overview. If the relative humidity exceeds 70%,
using dehumidiers or dehumidifying air conditioners is
recommended.
Corrosive gases
avoidance
The installation site must be free from acidic, alkaline, or
corrosive gases.
Heat dissipation
space
Keep any objects or obstructions at least 75 mm away
from the air intake and exhaust vents to facilitate heat
dissipation.
Maintenance
space
The equipment must be stacked in the cabinet or installed
at an interval of 2U or more to prevent the return air from
aecting heat dissipation.
4.2.4.3 Checking the Cabinet
The device can only be installed in a standard 19-inch cabinet. Huawei A610
cabinet is recommended. If you purchase a cabinet by yourself, ensure that the
cabinet meets the following requirements:
1. 19-inch cabinet with a depth of greater than or equal to 800 mm.

If a shielding cover is used, 140 mm of clearance must be reserved between the device
and the cabinet's front door to facilitate cable routing.
2. The cabling space in front of the cabinet complies with the cabling space
requirements of service ports.
NO TE
For a cabinet with doors, reserve at least 110 mm clearance between the device's front
panel and the cabinet's front door, and at least 100 mm clearance between the
device's rear panel and the cabinet's rear door. Note that the 110 mm clearance
applies to scenarios where there is no optical attenuator and the optical
bers' LC
connectors are 42 mm long at most. If there are optical attenuators and the length of
the optical bers' LC connectors is greater than 42 mm, the clearance is 110 mm plus
the cable routing space for the optical attenuators and optical bers.
3. The device is designed with front-to-back or back-to-front airow. The cabinet
must meet front-to-rear ventilation requirements.
4. The porosity of each cabinet door must be greater than 50%, meeting heat
dissipation requirements of devices.
5. The cabinet must be equipped with air
lters.
6. The cabinet has installation accessories, such as guide rails, oating nuts, and
screws.
7. The cabinet has a ground terminal to connect to the device.
