TRANSMISSION REMOVAL
CAUTION
Serious injury may result if machine tips or falls. Be
sure machine is secure before beginning this
procedure. Always wear eye protection.
1. Remove the following components:
• Seat, see page 10.15.
• Engine compartment panel, see page 10.20.
• Rear ROPS tube, see “ROPS Assembly” page
10.5.
2. Disconnect the (-) negative battery cable from the
battery.
3. Remove the rear bumper and cargo box as an
assembly.
4. Loosen the clamps

retaining the intake ducts to the
air box.
5. Remove the two bolts

retaining the air box to the
frame support.
6. Remove the exhaust springs
e
retaining the silencer
r
to the exhaust pipe.
7. Remove or disconnect the following components from
the cargo box brace.

Transmission Vent
Line

Harness Retainers

Heat Shield Push
Rivets
