FRONT STABILIZER BAR INSTALLATION
1. If removed, reinstall the fasteners
q
retaining the
stabilizer bar link to the A-arm. Torque fasteners to
specification.
TORQUE
Sway Bar Fasteners:
42 ft-lbs (57 Nm)
2. Install the stabilizer bar from the side.
3. Install the fasteners retaining the stabilizer bar mount
to the frame. Torque fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Stabilizer Support Fasteners:
16 ft-lbs (22 Nm)
4. Install the fasteners
w
retaining the front stabilizer
bar links to the stabilizer bar. Torque fasteners to
specification.
TORQUE
Sway Bar Fasteners:
42 ft-lbs (57 Nm)
5. Install the steering rack onto the vehicle. Torque
fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Steering Rack Mounting Fasteners:
16 ft-lbs (22 Nm)
6. Install the steering post. See Lower Steering Shaft
Installation (EPS) page 8.10
7. Install the tie rod ends onto the bearing carrier.
8. Install the winch mount. Torque fasteners to
specification.
TORQUE
Winch Mount Fasteners:
8 ft-lbs (11 Nm)
9. Install the upper and main floor boards. See Main
Floorboard page 10.24 and Upper Floorboard page
10.24.
10.Install the front bumper.
