REAR BUMPER / STORAGE BOX
REAR BUMPER REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the rear tail lamp wire harness
connectors.
2. Remove the lower bumper fasteners

and remove
from vehicle.
3. Remove the screws
w
and plastic rivets
e
that
secure the rear bumper to the chassis, fenders,
fender flares, and storage box.
4. Remove rear bumper assembly from vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install rear bumper assembly onto vehicle.
2. Install the screws hand tight.
3. Install the plastic rivets.
4. Torque screws to specifications.
TORQUE
Bumper Screws:
14 ft-lbs (19 Nm)
REAR STORAGE BOX REMOVAL /
INSTALLATION
NOTE
The rear bumper (fascia) can either be removed or
remain attached to the rear storage box. If the rear
bumper is going to remain attached, the upper
fasteners of the lower bumper must be removed.
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the ROPS side bolsters and rear tube
assembly.
2. Remove the rear bumper or disconnect the rear tail
lamp wire harness connectors.
3. Remove the rosebud fasteners
q
that secure the
engine and PVT intake ducts to the storage box.
4. The rear fenders can remain attached to the storage
box. Remove the screws attaching the fenders /
storage box to seat side panels.
