11 33 Removing and installing valve
gear carrier
•
Remove camshaft sprocket cover.
L Note:
If the camshaft sprocket (1) is not removed after be-
ing released, it will be necessary to position and se-
cure it to prevent it from dropping into the engine (for
instance, with cable ties).
•
Remove/pull off camshaft sprocket.
L Note:
If no work is being carried out on the valve gear car-
rier, remove it together with the cylinder head.
•
Remove valve gear carrier.
•
Secure rocker arms with a rubber band (2).
•
Install valve gear carrier (a 11.58).
