To use Safety Integrated, you require in addition to the license for SIMATIC STEP 7 Safety
Advanced (TIA Portal), the appropriate software options for the RT function:

as example.
When required, you can order additional licenses.
For every license that is ordered, you receive a
Certificate of Licenses, which you can then use to
obtain licenses from the license database via the
"WEB License Manager".
Note:
Only for SINAMICS are the Safety Integrated Func‐
tions SP, SLP and SCA classified as Advanced
Functions. They require a different type of license
than the Extended Functions.
Depending on the functions used, you must license the appropriate software options and set in
the machine data:
● MD19500 $MN_SAFE_PLC_LOGIC: Safety Integrated/F-PLC basic option
