Purpose
How It Works
Location
Parking Brake Switch
The purpose of the parking brake switch is to ensure the
machine is in neutral and the parking brake is applied
before attempting to start the machine.
In the start position it is used to ensure the park brake
is in the ON position. At the same time it allows current
to fl ow through for safety circuit. When the park brake
is released in the OFF position it bypasses both neutral
switches, as long as the operator is in the seat to main-
tain current for the safety circuit (Fig. 659).

The park brake switch is located on the left side, below
the left motion control handle (Fig. 658).
