8.1. Save the configuration and apply the change:

2. Type exit to exit the Admin CLI.
Depending on your device configuration, you may be presented with an Access selection
menu. Type quit to disconnect from the device.
Forward location information to a remote host
You can configure location clients on the Connect IT 16/48 device that forward location messages in
either NMEAor TAIP format to a remote host.
Required configuration items
n Enable the location service.
n The hostname or IP address of the remote host to which the location messages will be
forwarded.
n The communication protocol, either TCP or UDP.
n The destination port on the remote host to which the messages will be forwarded.
n Message protocol type of the messages being forwarded, either NMEA or TAIP.
