COOLANT SYSTEM TESTING
COOLANT (HYDROMETER TEST)
Remove the four screws and radiator cover.
Remove the radiator cap.

Pinch the siphon hose with a hose clamp.
Test the coolant gravity using a hydrometer
below for "Coolant specific gravity chart").
For maximum corrosion protection, a 1:1 solution of
ethylene glycol and distilled water is recommended
(page 6-6).
Look for contamination and replace the coolant if
necessary.
