FRAME/BODY PANELS/EXHAUST SYSTEM
MUFFLER
REMOVAL
Remove the exhaust pipe joint nuts.
Remove the muffler mounting bolts and muffler.
Remove the gasket.
INSTALLATION
Replace the gasket with a new one.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal by
loosely tightening all fasteners.
Tighten the joint nut first, then tighten the mount
bolts.
After installation, inspect the exhaust system for
leaks.
