MAINTENANCE
ENGINE OIL
OIL LEVEL CHECK
Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
Stop the engine and place the scooter on its
centerstand on a level surface.
Wait for 2 or 3 minutes after stopping the engine.
Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and wipe the oil
from the dipstick with a clean cloth.
OIL FILLER CAP/DIPSTICK
Insert the dipstick without screwing it in, remove it
and check the oil level.
If the oil level is below or near the lower level line
on the dipstick, add the recommended oil to the
upper level.
RECOMMENDED ENGINE OIL:
Pro Honda GN4 or HP4 (without molybdenum
additives) 4-stroke oil or equivalent motor oil
API service classification: SG or Higher
Viscosity: SAE 10W-40
NOTE:
Other viscosities shown in the chart may be used
when the average temperature in your riding
area is within the indicated range.
Reinstall the oil filler cap/dipstick.
