Hold the steering stem and remove the steering top
cone race.
Remove the upper bearing.
Remove the steering stem and lower bearing.
Always replace
the
bearings
and
races
as
a set

While holding the installer shaft with the wrench,
turn the lower nut gradually until the groove in
installer attachment B aligns with the lower end of
the steering head. This will allow you to install the
lower bearing outer race.
