ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
ENGINE INSTALLATION
NOTE.
• Before installing the engine, route the wires,
hoses, and cables properly (page 1-14).
• A hoist or equivalent is required to support the
scooter when installing the engine.
Install the engine hanger link, aligning the rubber
stopper with the frame.
BUSHING RUBBER STOPPER
Install and tighten the engine hanger link bolts to
the specified torque.
TORQUE: 39 N m (4.0 kgf m, 29 Ibf-ft)
Install the mounting bushings, joint tube and collar
as shown.
Set the engine to the frame and install the engine
mounting bolt.
Install and tighten the engine mounting nut to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 49 N m (5.0 kgf m, 36 Ibf-ft)
