KICKSTARTER/DRIVE PULLEY/DRIVEN PULLEY/CLUTCH
Install the kickstarter pedal to its original position as
marked during removal.
Install and tighten the bolt securely.
MARK
Apply molybdenum solution to the kickstarter
driven gear journal and spring surface.
Turn and hold the kickstarter pedal.
Install the kickstarter driven gear, aligning the
spring with groove of the belt case cover and
kickstarter gear with driven gear.
Install the belt case cover (page 9-5).
DRIVE PULLEY
REMOVAL
Remove the belt case cover (page 9-5).
Hold the drive pulley face with special tool and
loosen the drive pulley face nut.
DRIVE PULLEY FACE I NUT/WASHER
TOOL:
Universal holder
07725-0030000
Remove the nut, washer, ratchet plate and drive pul-
ley face.
Remove the drive belt from the crankshaft.
Remove the movable drive face assembly while
holding the back of the ramp plate.
Remove the drive face boss from the movable drive
face assembly.
