301DISASSEMBLING
THE
ENGINE

Release
nuts
in
a
crisscross
pattern
and
remove
them
with
the
washers.
-
Take
off
the
cylinder
head.
-
Remove
centering
pins
and
cylinder
head
gasket
.
-
Remove
screws
.
Take
off
the
water
pump
cover.
-
Remove
the
gasket.
-
Remove
screw
•
Info
I
If
work
is
to
be
performed
on
the
water
pump,
unscrew
the
nut
of
the
water
pump
impeller.
-
Mount
special
tool
I
Assembly
