Ol/FORK, TRIPLE CLAMP
RemDYinlllle lower triple clamp
Installlnilhe lower triple clamp
Preliminary work
- Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (r p. 9)
- Remove front wheel. (r p. 83)
- Remove the fork legs. (r p. 13)
- Remove the start number plate. (r p. 82)
- Remove the front fender. (r p. 82)
- Remove the handlebar cushion.
Main work
- Remove screw
- Remove screw
- Take off the top triple clamp with the handlebar and set it aside.

I Protect the motorcycle and its attachments against damage by covering
them.
Do not bend the cables and lines.

Remove O-ring . Remove protective ring
- Take out the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.

Remove the upper steering head bearing.
Main work
- Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for damage, and grease.
I High viscosity grease (r p. 226)

- Insert the lower triple clamp with the steering stem. Mount the upper steering head
bearing.
- Check whether the top steering
head seal is correctly positioned.
- Slide
on protective ring and O-ring
- Position the upper triple clamp with the steering.
- Mount screw but
do not tighten yet.
