Adjustinllhe p'lay in the throttle cable
Preliminary work
- Remove the seat. (r p. 78)
- Remove the fuel tank. (r p. 79)
- Check the throttle cable routing. (r p. 46)
Main work
- Move the handlebar to the straight-ahead position.

Push back sleeves

Loosen nut . Turn adjusting screw in as far as possible.

Loosen nut . Turn adjusting screw so that there is play in the throttle cable at
the throttle grip.
Guideline
1 Play in throttle cable 13 ... 5 mm (0.12 ... 0.2 in)
- Tighten nut

Press and hold the throttle grip in the closed setting. Turn adjusting screw out
until there
is no play in the throttle cable
- Tighten nut

Push sleeves on. Check the throttle grip for smooth operation.
Subsequent work
- Install the fuel tank. (r p. 80)
- Mount the seat. (r p. 79)
- Check the play in the throttle cable. (r p. 46)
