- Raise the motorcycle with the
lift
stand. (r

Main work

Press
the brake caliper by hand
on
to the brake disc in order
to
press back the
brake piston.
Info
I Make sure when pushing back the brake piston
that
you
do not press the
brake caliper against the spokes.
- Remove nut

- Remove chain adjuster . Withdraw wheel spindle only enough to allow the rear
wheel
to
be pushed forward.
- Push the rear wheel forward
as
far
as
possible. Remove the chain from the rear
sprocket.
- Holding the rear wheel, withdraw the wheel spindle. Take the rear wheel out of the
swingarm.

I
Do
not operate the foot brake when the rear wheel is removed.
Always lay the wheel down in such a way
that
the brake disc is not dam-
aged.
- Remove spacers

accidents Reduced braking efficiency due to oil or grease
on
the brake discs.
- Always keep the brake discs free
of
oil and grease, and clean them with brake cleaner when necessary.
Main work
- Check the wheel bearing for damage and wear.
If
the wheel bearing is damaged or worn:
- Change the wheel bearing.
- Clean and grease shaft seal rings and bearing surface of the spacers.

- I nsert the spacers.

Lift
the rear wheel into the swingarm, position it, and insert wheel spindle
- Attach the chain.
