17.3.2 About the CO
2
Digital Tile
If a CO
2
measurement is invalid, “- -” displays in place of digits.
The CO
2
tile displays all values in units of mmHg with a resolution of 1 mmHg when displayed in
mmHg.
The CO
2
tile displays all values in units of percent (%) with a resolution of 0.1% when displayed in
percent.
The CO
2
tile displays all values in units of kPa with a resolution of 0.1 kPa when displayed in kPa.

Alarms
Refer to the "Gases Tab" on page 8-7 for additional information.
17.3.4 Message Area
The message area provides information about the current state of the CO
2
parameter. If there is more
than one message to display, the messages scroll.

Inspired CO2 High Alarm Violation Indicates that the current value is either equal to or higher than the set
alarm limits.
ET CO2 High Alarm Violation Indicates that the current value is either equal to or higher than the set
alarm limits.
