Mixed Venous Oxygen Saturation (SvO2) (Optional) SvO2 Troubleshooting
4.4.1 About the SvO2 Tile
• The SvO2 tile displays all SvO2 in units of % with a resolution of 1%.
• If the SvO2 measurement is invalid, “- -” displays in place of digits.
4.4.2 SvO2 Alarms
Refer to the "Alarm Responses: CCO/Hemo Tab" on page 4-3 for additional information.
4.4.3 Message Area
The message area provides information about the current state of the SvO2 parameter. If there is
more than one message to display, the messages scroll.
4.5 SvO2 Troubleshooting
The SvO2 tile message area displays messages indicating the current state of the SvO2 parameter. If
there is more than one message to display, the messages scroll.
MESSAGE DETAILS
SvO2 High Alarm Violation Indicates that the current value is either equal to or higher than the set alarm
limits
.
SvO2 Low Alarm Violation Indicates that the current value is either equal to or lower than the set alarm
limits
.
Check Vigilance Indicates there is an error on the Edward
s device that is not a physiological
alarm. It is a prompt for the clinician to look at the Edwards device for more
detailed information.
ISSUE REASON SOLUTION
Dashes “- -” display in place
of numerics.
