Getting Started Using the V 21 Touch Pad
Power Off Unit
To power off unit, press the power button and release when a triple-beep signal is heard. This initiates
the monitor shutdown process.
NOTE: The system gives three beeps of power-off self test tone and the
message “shutting down...” temporarily displays below the company
logo of the splash screen during this process.
NOTE: The shutdown process takes approximately one (1) minute, during
which time the monitor cannot be restarted.
2.3 Using the V 21 Touch Pad
NOTE: Only the V 21 is equipped with a touch pad.
• Move a finger around the touch pad to change the cursor location on the display.
• Tap the touch pad once the cursor is positioned in the desired position on the display to open
the dialog.
2.4 Main Display
The Main Display shows:
1. Header Bar
2. Message Area
3. Alarm status icon
4. Date and time
5. Module Status shortcut icon
6. Display Presets shortcut icon
7. Battery levels indicator (V 12 only)
8. Digital tiles
9. Navigation Area
10. Waveform tiles
